We are currently seeking a merchandising representative to work with us on our ENTERTAINMENT TEAM Programs!
You are the person who notices EVERYTHING! You have a keen eye for detail, and a knack for being creative. You are an independent worker, who enjoys the challenge working with retail managers in a set territory to ensure that your client's brand enjoys maximum exposure? You are excited by the opportunity to represent Canada's most respected brands while working with the nation's premier 3rd party sales and merchandising firm?
Main responsibilities : In-store execution of program priorities, including: building displays, plan-o-grams, point of sale material
In-store inventory management, replenishing and rotating stock, fixture assembly, etc.
Relationship Management - building a managing exceptional relationships with retail store management
Being a strong ambassador for the brand
"Selling in" - promoting new products to store management, negotiating premier shelf space and front of store presence, etc.

Qualifications
Be available to call on store Tuesdays (8am) to set up New Releases
Be available another day either Thursday or Friday to do a merchandising call
Be available to start time 8:00am or earlier
Average 5-8 hours per week but be flexible to some increased hours from November through December
Be comfortable with Hand Held technology and\or willing to learn
Have strong communication skills
Have general computer knowledge of internet, word and outlook
Training - Available to complete some on line self training modules and in store shadowing with another rep and or manager prior to being in field
