Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Private clinical laboratories
Area of Specialization: General medical technology, Haematology
Medical Laboratory Technologist Specific Skills: Conduct chemical analyses of blood, urine and other body fluids
Additional Skills: Supervise other technical and support staff, Train other technical and support staff
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environment
Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information: Must be a medical laboratory technologist LICENCED WITH CMLTM. Experienced in Venipuncture, Hematology (WBC Diffs), Urinalysis and have excellent computer skills. Write keyboarding speed on resume.
