OVERVIEW
Under the guidance of the Retail Operation Manager, the primary responsibility of the Field Sales Representative is to work collaboratively with the retail customer to maximize the presence of Kruger Product brands by way of expanding share of shelf and floor space within the retail store.
REPORTING
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) reports directly to the Retail Operations Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) is a vital link between retail store level and Head Office level.
The incumbent must ensure achievement of assigned objectives and maximize Kruger Product brands in-store presence. The individual must establish solid multi-level working relationships within the retail store and maintain strong lines of communication to ensure effectiveness at store level.
The incumbent must achieve set targets and objectives specific to each retail account location with regular store coverage to ensure success. This individual must be innovative and be open to new ideas and approaches to the business. He/she is responsible for execution of National programs and to contribute to the development of regional programs and initiatives.
Working primarily in the Grocery, Drug, and Mass Merchandiser trade channels, the incumbent is responsible for managing their own territory to achieve set objectives within each store call.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have 3-5 years of retail sales or merchandising experience, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry i.e. Wal-mart merchandising.
Creative, dynamic and forward thinking individual with demonstrated drive and passion.
Effective planning and execution skills with solid analytical capabilities.
Persuasive, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at multi-tasking in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency with a PC (working knowledge of Excel, Word, & Power Point).
Use of a reliable vehicle is required complete with valid driver’s license.
