Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will join our growing Biosciences Division team working for a variety of clients. Our team of dynamic professionals and technicians requires Project Coordinators to be an integral part of its leadership.
Responsibilities Include:
- Participation in a team environment, working closely with Project Managers, Field Technicians and our clients to ensure successful project delivery
- Scheduling of field staff and subcontractors
- Diligent attention to project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements
- Work with and provide support to other members of the division in sharing project management, project completion and client service responsibilities
Job Requirements:
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Recognized certifications or training in a recognized Project Coordination program;
- A minimum of 2 years of project coordination experience, supported by strong interpersonal, communication and key judgment skills;
- Ability to carry out project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements as well as integration of project technical teams, as directed by the Project Manager or Project Director;
- Previous work experience working within the consulting engineering environment would be an advantage;
- Excellent organizational skills (prioritizing, time management, record keeping, follow up, etc.);
- Good communication skills (verbal, listening, speaking and writing) and a friendly, pleasant manner;
- Excellent English communication;
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
- Notion of quality processes as part of our business systems;
- Strong team player, self motivated, proactive thinker, flexible and adaptable;
- Demonstrable initiative, resourcefulness and overall good judgment;
- A problem solver with the ability to identify and implement alternative solutions;
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, exhibiting discretion (e.g. human resources), diplomacy and tact;
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines, manage conflicting priorities, and work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment;
