Position: NPO NW Design & Optimization Engineer, Radio WCDMA

Description:
Radio Planning, Access planning, dimensioning and Optimization.
o Radio Planning and Optimisation of 3G/LTE network to trouble shoot and improve KPIs
o Analysis of KPIs, investigation and improvement of network quality problems o Implementation of new RAN features, and tuning of RAN database parameters
o Analysis of neighbor relations and implementation of corrections
o Radio propagation planning, optimisation of coverage footprint and services
o Frequency planning with planning tools
o Model Tuning o Planning and optimisation of data services (3G, HSPA, IHSPA, LTE)
o Customer problem investigation
o Radio Planning & Optimisation team lead for small team of engineers
o Providing inputs for budget forecasting
o Interaction with suppliers and subcontractors
o Interfaces with customers to provide network design and performance related services, according to the solutions portfolio
o Performs design and performance activities in customer projects independently, according to project plan and in project managers guidance
o Provides support to clients and/or customers (typically on-site) in his field of expertise
o Operates in compliance with the processes, methods and tools linked to the job and possesses service excellence awareness
Required Competencies and Skills:
- Fluent in French (written and oral)
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom/Electronic Engineering Typically 5+ years related experience in RF Planning & Optimization for UMTS/LTE or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Nokia Siemens,
- Knowledge and practice of planning and optimization processes
- Knowledge and practice of RF Planning tool and DT measurement tools
- Experience in using planning & optimisation tools, such as: Netact, Asset, TEMS, Nemo Outdoor, Agilent Nitro, Actix Analyzer, MapInfo, Protocol Analyzer etc. Using MS Office applications to a high degree of knowledge
- Good knowledge of 3G/LTE KPI, practice in creating and analysis of statistical KPI reporting
- Good 3G/LTE RF network planning and optimization processes knowledge and experience
- Strong presentation and technical consulting skills
- Solid problem solving and analytic skills
