PCL Construction Resources Inc. is currently looking for an Accountant to join our team in Edmonton!

At PCL Construction Resources, Accountants perform general accounting and administrative functions to meet operational requirements that support the on-going and effective support of our fixed asset management company. We are looking for someone who can perform tasks independently and at a high level of accuracy. Below are the responsibilities of the role:

• Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Manage collection of district accounts receivable and reporting of receivables to NAHQ
• Process weekly cheque run
• Prepare monthly cost reports for each department

Responsibilities

• Working on or graduated from post-secondary accounting program
• Aspirations to complete an accounting designation program
• Intermediate skills with the use of Microsoft Office products , including Excel, Word and Outlook program;
• Experience in Peoplesoft (JDE) accounting software would be an asset
• Able to work independently and perform at a high level of accuracy
• Highly committed to meet all deadlines and goals
• Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing business environment
• Skills to effectively prioritize multi-tasks
• Able to work with a diverse workforce and interact professionally with all levels of the organization
• Excellent team player
• Able to work under pressure, account for results, and meet challenging deadlines
• Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges
