Our client is currently looking for a motivated and intelligent junior accounting professional to join their accounts payable team. This position is expected to be a one year contract opportunity with the possibility of being extended.
In this position you will be responsible for entry of a high volume of vendor invoices into the company system. You will be required to communicate with vendors and cross reference invoices to service contracts.
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of one year junior level accounting experience (accounts payable experience is preferred)
Strong data entry skills (both speed and accuracy)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well within a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Post secondary education in accounting would be considered an asset
