Responsibilities:
An opportunity exists in our Markham office for a highly organized and capable CAD Technician preferably with water and wastewater facility experience to become part of our dynamic team. Reporting to a Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Preparing engineering drawings for water / wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations
- Preparing presentation graphics and report figures
- Coordinating project drawings with Project Managers, CAD staff and others
- Ensuring that project requirements are met in a timely and effective manner
Qualifications:
As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of 2-5 years experience providing CAD services in a consulting environment. Exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered. Experience and familiarity with civil and architectural disciplines and/or an education background in these areas would be advantageous. A comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD 2005 / 2008 is essential. Experience in the use of Civil 3D and/or AutoDesk Land Development Desktop will be considered an asset. You also have strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work within a team environment. You are highly organized and are able to prioritize multiple tasks.
