COORDINATOR, ON AIR PROMOTION – PRODUCTION
Toronto, Ontario

This position reports directly to the Creative Director and is responsible for the improved running of Promo/Design production and liaises between the CD, Producers, graphics and marketing to ensure all production and post production takes place in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
Track and manage workflow of monthly promotables, following up with producers, creative directors and Audience Manager.
Reversioning/repackaging promos and day to day production support – ie: line ups, disclaimers, 5's Nexts , as per network needs.
Organize and manage the launch of rebrands and networks.
Prepare work back schedules for special promo projects (VP + corporate reels) and promos and organize off line reviews, and approvals.
Organize and book edit shifts including ingest requests prior to edit shifts.
Assist Producers and Creative Director with booking edit shifts and ingest requests.
Create, maintain and provide load and cue sheets prior to edit and audio.
Book and organize voiceover talent sessions.
Keep record of music used in production
Coordinate production and delivery of dubs, airchecks, DVDs, etc.
Quality Control of all on-air elements.
Along with the studio coordinator, organize, update and maintain a compilation of assorted reels made for programming, sales and others.
Liaise between OAP and all other departments (sales, web, programming, marketing, Corus On Air Design), freelancers, production companies and assist in the organization of all promo production related work.
Assist in the production and organization of live action shoots, auditions, casting, props and general duties.
Make sure that standardized sales tagging of promotions gets done.
Make sure new material (last minute external tapes) are ingested.
Prepare visual Power Point presentations and mocking up creative for approval.
Organize monthly show and tell material.

Required skills and qualifications:
Knowledge of On Air promotion work process and flow.
Ablility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Undergraduate degree in Radio/TV/Film/Journalism or equivalent work experience.
Excellent organizational and research skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Fully computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Keynote, Photoshop etc.)
Self-motivated team player who is willing to work extended hours as needed.
Knowledge of Pilat traffic system (to be trained).
