St. John Ambulance is a registered charity, operating in Canada since 1883. Today over 20,000 volunteers serve their communities by providing First Aid services as well as improving the quality of life for people through community service programs such as Therapy Dog visitation. More than 6,000 first aid and CPR instructors, volunteers, and staff provide high quality first aid training and products across the country.
The National Office of St. John Ambulance is looking for a dynamic individual to support its sales and marketing functions, nationally. In a key position of influence and opportunity, the incumbent will work with senior management and sales and marketing staff across Canada to increase revenues and elevate the profile and brand of St. John Ambulance (SJA). The focus of the position includes SJA's training programs and on-line product sales.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales and marketing professional who is collaborative, creative, hard working and team oriented. They will bring a wide range of sales and marketing experience, and be proven in their ability to develop consensus and work across organizational boundaries. They will be experienced in the sales spectrum from account prospecting and procurement processes to account management and retention. They will have experience in corporate branding, sponsorship development, the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans, and media and public communications. As a national role, located in Ottawa, bilingualism will be an important asset.
