The Project Coordinator will assist with the delivery of innovative, real-time, multi-platform mobile applications and websites for smartphones and tablets that are fully customized to the unique needs of our clients in the meetings and events marketplace. Reporting to the Director, Project Management, this role will coordinate all phases of multiple, parallel, small to mid-sized projects ensuring all teams, including sales and marketing, development, QA, and support, work together to the mutual benefit of the client and QuickMobile. The Project Coordinator will assist with the management of software projects in a rapidly growing and agile environment using a solid understanding of software development cycles and project management methodologies. You are able to leverage your technical background to deliver implementation projects and other value-added services to our high-profile customer base.

What We Offer • Competitive base salary • Bonus • Comprehensive benefits package • Flexible working environment • Monthly office socials • In-office massage • Stock options • Transit discount • Opportunities for career advancement Responsibilities: • Act as a project and development contact with clients and assess business needs in order to assist with developing and outlining Statements of Work and Specifications based on customer requirements • Work with Project Managers to define project scope, deliverables, schedule, budget and tasks lists • Coordinate project scheduling, estimating, forecasting, budget monitoring, reporting and other project documents • Communicate the schedule, task priorities and status to project team members, the client, and management on an ongoing basis • Assist with providing on-time delivery of deliverables including requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and post-deployment activities • Account for project issue, risk and conflict resolution • Assist Project Managers with controlling scope/schedule/cost through strong adherence to Change Management processes • Work with Project Managers to define project management processes, tools and templates as required for the project • Organize, document, and communicate project post-mortem analysis Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or in Engineering/Science OR an equivalent combination of training and experience • 3 years of solid project coordination experience within a technical environment • Prior experience in a customer service or in a technical support role • Working towards a PMP designation • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, principles and practices • Experience in development or software lifecycle, and programming knowledge with a strong technical background in web and/or mobile applications • A keen interest in mobile technologies • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff/clients • Flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings or weekends when required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment managing multiple projects and a large volume of work We thank all applicants for their interest in joining our team; however, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
