Dessau has a subsidiary named LVM, a consulting engineering and testing firm of 1400 employees providing technical services in the areas of construction materials, pavements, tunnels, bridges, quality management, geotechnology and environmental engineering.
LVM is currently looking for a bilingual administrative assistant to join the Operations department at its Milton office. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will have to perform general office work. More specifically, you will:
Manage the Regional Manager's agenda;
Be in charge of logistics pertaining to meetings, business trips & special events;
Participate in meetings, take notes and prepare minutes of meetings;
Collect information & prepare documents for discussion and presentation purposes;
Review, revise and correct documents for the team;
Coordinate the integration of the new employees;
Perform various simple acounting tasks, including budget monitoring.
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Superior document management experience;
Relevant training in office automation or administration (asset);
Bilingual, English & French (mandatory)
Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
