The Location Field HR Specialist-Location Lead, is responsible for HR coordination and support to the Location Managing Director (LMD), Location Support Manager (LSM), People Lead and local City Council Senior Executives. The Location FHR Specialist-Location Lead serves as a primary connection between HR and local employees across all DTEs and service organizations within a location, providing high quality facilitation, coaching, advisory and reporting services to leadership and employees to optimize the local employee experience. Location FHR Specialists-Location Lead are aligned to NA Metro Locations, within US and Canada. Senior Specialists and Specialists work under the support and supervision of Manager-level Location FHR Leads, or a Specialist may report to a Senior Specialist.
Key responsibilities include: HR Point of Contact: Represent HR locally and facilitate contact points for questions and resolving issues on local HR matters. Act as single point of contact for other HR functions for LMD, LSM, People Lead and City Council SEs. Act as local liaison to service organizations and other groups in the local office and across North America: HR, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Marketing & Communications, F&S, Diversity & Interest Groups, Corporate Citizenship, Communities, local project PPAs and CALs, visiting ELT, Alumni, etc.
Local HR Support: Provide regular, local HR metrics package/scorecard to LMD and local City Council. Support Local Marketing Initiatives with people metrics and leverage local, available talent. Participate in local supply-demand management through support of local staffing initiatives, reporting, connecting to Recruiting, local projects, Client Account Leads, Client Supply-Demand Specialists, the Growth Platforms, etc.
Employee Orientation and Integration: Welcome new joiners and ensure new hire visibility to and a perspective on local leadership, clients, events and local resources. Support local Analyst and Experienced Hire networking groups.
Enhance Office Experience/Connection: Coordinate awareness and participation in local activities, events, and contribute to planning and execution of events.
Ensure available cross-workforce people are present in the office and help to keep them busy with meaningful work.
Employee Satisfaction: Develop and execute location-based employee satisfaction events, development programs, and recognition processes. Focus on Senior
Executive Involvement by providing regular opportunities to connect to local, cross-workforce employees.
Employee Support: Support employees through their lifecycle at Accenture; activities include orientation delivery for new joiners, conduct exit departures, assisting with managed departures or mergers and acquisitions. Assisting with sensitive/complex ER investigations or grievances.
A Bachelor degree with a focus on Human Resources Management or Business Management-related discipline
Human Resources generalist experience
Deep human resources service delivery experience
Solid understanding of Accenture's business operations and business strategy
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Strong coaching and partnering capability combined with a demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility
Experience in building successful and productive working relationships
Demonstrated ability to quickly synthesize new subject matters
Preferred Skill Requirements
Proficiency in the French language (oral and written) strongly preferred
A Human Resources designation/certification preferred
Prior experience in Consulting and/or IT Services industries strongly preferred
