The Microsoft Practice of CGI's GTA division located in Toronto is responsible for providing architecture, technology consulting and support services to CGI's customers.
We have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Senior Microsoft System Center Consultant to assist with developing the practice and leading the delivery of Microsoft Infrastructure solutions across the key technologies such as System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager, System Center Data Protection Manager, System Center Service Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Consulting Services you will be primarily responsible for developing and delivering solutions in pre and post-sales capacity.
This unique career opportunity further allows you to utilize your full complement of skills and experience by helping develop the strategy and execution with Microsoft System Center Service Lines. Successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead business development efforts through engaging with both the internal and external stakeholders that contributes to the growth of the business.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Designing and deploying System Center Configuration Manager with experience in managing medium to large environment. The candidate should possess the following skills Software Distribution and Packaging, Desktop imagining, Deploying updates with System Center Configuration Manager, and knowledge with System Center Configuration Manager Reporting.
- Designing and deploying System Center Operations Manager with experience in tuning and optimizing System Center Operations Manger deployment.
- Core Windows Server and Desktop Platform Skills
- Good knowledge in Windows Server 2003 and 2008 in addition Active Directory and Scripting language is desired
- Some knowledge of System Center Service Manager, System Center Virtual Machine Manager or System Center Data Protection Manager will be considered as an asset.
In addition to the above, candidates must have extensive experience with IT/Networking products, Server and Workstation Deployment strategies, and Security Policy, Practices and Products.
Applicants must also demonstrate:
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience in project management
- Experience in developing solutions in an enterprise IT environment, including networking, infrastructure, etc.
An undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience is a requirement. Industry certifications in related technologies/products are an asset.
