Hudson's Bay Company (Hbc) - Sherwood Park, AB
is accountable to the Service Leader for all aspects of positive interaction with the consumer at point of sale. The Checkout Associate is to be knowledgeable on all aspects of point of sale operations and the policy and procedures that pertain to the check out operations.
Responsibility will be to greet, assist and accommodate customers in all aspects of customer service in an environment of speed, convenience and friendliness
Fully conversant with the company’s Hbc credit & loyalty programs and fully execute the standards for a Checkout Associate
Maintain a working knowledge of the weekly NSP program and other marketing programs
Use of empowerment to resolve customer issues in a prompt and friendly manner
Completion of all training and product knowledge programs (All credit programs, OPAL, selling skills, etc…)
Maintain front end visibility to the customer when not processing sales
Prompt reaction to line-ups
Support and promote all customer incentive programs
Maintain communication with Service Leader on opportunities brought up by customers (i.e./ out of stocks, signing)
Adherence to scanning procedures at all times.
Maintain strict control over all monies and media during each shift.
