Job Description:
We are looking for 2 senior technology specialists to work with the Service Assurance Support Team to support the BMC IT Service Management (ITSM) application. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Installation of the BMC ITSM application
- Maintenance of the application, including application of patches, and version and release upgrades
- Configuration and customization of the ITSM application
- Report generation
- Build interfaces to link ITSM to other tools
- Perform demo and training sessions
- Migrate external systems to ITSM, as required
- Documentation
The potential candidate should process the following skills:
- In depth technical knowledge on BMC ITSM (IT Service Management) suite, including these modules
- Service Desk (Incident Management, Problem Management)
- Change / Release management
- Asset Management
- Configuration Management / CMDB
- Service Level Management
- Request Management
- Reporting (Dashboard and Analytics)
- Knowledge in integration methods, including web services
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable meeting with both internal people and external customers
- Ability to lead discussions
- Ability to deliver demo / training
- Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in incident management, problem management, change management, release management, asset management, and service level management processes
- Knowledge in working in a Windows / Linux environment
- Knowledge of ITIL an asset
- Knowledge of MS Project and MS Visio an asset
- Knowledge of Kinetic Request an asset
