PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include the following, but are not limited to:
Demonstrate commitment to safety, environment and leadership

Develop site specific maintenance procedures where required

Supervise and organize direct reports and ensure scheduling of all full-time and contract staff to provide adequate support.

Adhere to vendor management system

Oversee and assist in the planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance

Maintain essential records and documentation

Liaison with Superintendents, Coordinators, Production Foreman and Operations Personnel

Must build and maintain a strong team environment within all disciplines and departments within Penn West Exploration

Assist with area site-specific maintenance programs

Review invoicing and ensure cost effective measures are being utilized

Procedure implementation and trouble shooting

Manage work order system

Perform incident investigations & facility inspections

Conduct performance reviews & job observations

Must deliver required reports

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Trade Certification would be beneficial

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

Rotating Equipment Experience

Minimum 10 years related oilfield experience

Motivated self-starter, able to handle significant and varied workloads

Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on working with others

Able to recognize maintenance optimization opportunities

Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, email, etc.

Must be able to work in a strong team environment

Must live in the Grande Prairie area
