We have an immediate opening for a Quality Technician I in our Calgary office.
Position Purpose/Summary
- To execute and report product verification activities for Product Development NPI and Regression projects.
- Provide Quality Assurance testing support and analysis support of data collected.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Ensure safe work practices are implemented and maintained
- Execute NPI and Regression Product Verification activities
- Execute Product Verification Plans for NPI and regression projects
- Execution of product testing in accordance with testing procedures and plans
- Provide data analysis in detailed forms for root cause analysis
- Work with Quality Assurance in root cause analysis of field failure reports
- Perform fault analysis on field returns
- Assist in design testing
- Improve and document current testing procedure
- Maintain the product testing areas
- Additional job duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
- Electronic or Chemical Technician/Technologist/Engineer or Electronics/Chemical background and parallel/equivalent work experience.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years test/verification experience
- Project Management experience is an asset for this position
- In depth knowledge of operation of testing hardware
- Beginner to Intermediate programming ability (LabView)
- ASET Certification desired, but not necessary
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification will be required within 2 years of hiring
