Work directly with the Program Director to oversee and maintain the music library and department.
Responsible for compliance with CRTC music content regulations.
Coordinate and execute special programming campaigns and initiatives as assigned.
Coordinate and schedule promotional and imaging inventory.
Assist in updating station website with the guidance of the Program Director.
Be a creative resource for station programming and strategies
Responsible for continuous liaison with engineering, IT and production for the maintenance of the station's music scheduling system and its integration with other computer programs.
Liaise with record company promotion representatives.
Promotion and remote duties as required.
On-air fill in may be required from time to time.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a music director.
Knowledge of CRTC content regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
Ability to multitask.
Must be able to function successfully under the pressure of constant deadlines.
Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
Required computer skills include Outlook, Excel and Word.
Highly proficient in using the Selector Music scheduling system and familiarity with Scott Studios preferred.
Ability to work independently, yet a strong team player.
