Description: An Ag Shop in Grande Prairie, Alberta is looking for an Licensed Agriculture Mechanic to service various pieces of equipment that are sold and brought into the shop for repair. The Mechanic must be familiar with basic repairs, required maintenance, and using manuals to fix and diagnose different equipment. It is strongly suggested that you have a good grasp of electrical and hydraulic experience to provide the right repairs for the Ag and Turf equipment that will be in the shop. You will be kept up to date with training paid for by the company to make sure your skills are always the best they can be and will report to the Service Manager upon completion of repairs. The Candidate chosen for this role must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a drivers license, the ability to operate equipment for diagnostic purposes, basic computer skills and 4+ years of performing service repairs. This company will also be considering Senior Apprentices for this role provided they have the right experience. We encourage you to apply! Compensation: $30.00 - $33.00/hour. Range will depend on related equipment experience and training. Benefits and RRSP are offered after the 3 month probation period. Shifts: Days, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday). Busy season (Spring to Fall) will require some overtime and extra work when possible.
