The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities within an assigned geographic territory. Candidates must possess experience in key account management and in developing and implementing sales & service strategies.
Qualifying new business opportunities and driving the complex sales cycle
Identify, build and enhance new and existing relationships with customer organizations
Analyze sales territory/market and identify potential new business opportunities
Update sales activity logs and customer forecasts
Keep up to date with assigned territory news and relevant industry activity
Desired Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the telecom or wireless industry, preferably selling telecom infrastructure solutions.
Knowledge of CDMA and GSM wireless networks as well as IP networking
Demonstrated experience in the sales process; building, planning and executing account plans to sell to medium/large organizations, preferably mobile carriers
Must have experience and confidence in presenting to all levels of an organization
Must be able to prioritize and excel in time management and multi-tasking
Experience in negotiating customer contracts for products and services
Strong computer skills including developing presentations; Powerpoint, Word, Excel
Previous knowledge and experience in wireless market an asset
Must have a technical post secondary education in a recognized business program or equivalent
