SCADAvantage is a global Product & Solutions Center (PSC) for ABB and is located in Calgary AB Canada. The PSC is responsible for the development, marketing and worldwide support of SCADAvantage software and related applications for the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical markets.
The successful applicant will sell and promote SCADAvantage to new and existing customers throughout the Canadian oil and gas market. In addition, they will also be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to expand the Canadian SCADA business into new customers, develop markets outside of Alberta, and to increase the level of pull-through business. Key expectations are coordinating all sales opportunities in the specified markets above and improve customer awareness through face to face interaction.
In your position you are reporting directly to the global SCADA Manager who is located Calgary.

4+ years demonstrated business development and sales experience in the SCADA, wellhead instrumentation and/or pipeline disciplines.
Engineering or Technologist Degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Natural Gas and Oil Processing and Production methods
Experience working in the Alberta oil and gas market.
Strong interpersonal skills
Good computer skills.
Must be task orientated with good analytical skills.
Good listening skills.
Good written communication skills.
Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
