RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively provides superior guest service within the Delta Prince Edward’s Food & Beverage operation (In Room Dining, Selkirk Restaurant and Lounge) through the adherence to and enhancement of Delta’s Quality Standards. The Server is responsible for ensuring the guests’ needs (both internal and external) are anticipated and exceeded, while ensuring financial goals of the department are met through effective selling and efficient work practices. This ambitious, articulate, outgoing and self-motivated individual will possess superior communication, time management and guest service skills.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum one year experience in Food and Beverage operation

Certification of Serve Safe (Responsible Beverage Service)

Able to work flexible hours (shift work)

Proven ability to professionally and effectively use judgment in resolving guest issues

Previous experience required in using a POS system an asset

Proven past experience in managing conflicting priorities

Responsible, reliable and honest

Self-motivated with ability to work well with limited supervision

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required

Bilingual (French) an asset

Graduate of tourism hospitality program an asset

Able to stand and\or walk for extended periods of time

Able to carry up to 10 kg
