Reporting to the Client Service Supervisor, the RN is responsible for the assessment and providing of professional nursing care to clients in the community setting.

Responsibilities

To assess client'sstatus and develoipdevelop/revise care plans and treatment regimes, including health teaching accordingly;

To assess clients' client's status, includig including environment, make recommendations, implemnet implement and advocate on client's behalf to ensure safety is maintained;

To document clearly and accurately using the appropriate Revera forms;

to Maintain client confidentiality;

To provide professional nursing care in accordance with regulatory body standards and guidelines, applicable legislation and Revera's policies and processes;

To participate in clinical case conferences as required;

To maintain competency in nursing skills;

To communicate appropriate client information within the client's interdisciplinary team to promote quality, client focused care;

to Communicate any serious client or risk concerns immediately to the CSS;

to maintain an effective working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders;

To mentor new staff/students as required;

To participate in in-service education;

To maintain current certification for Basic Cardiac Life Support;

To maintain currnet current in good standing with provincial regulatory body;

To uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ehticsethicsmorality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct;

To complete all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse- Enterostomal Therapist specialty

experience working in the community setting preferred

must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, clinical knowledge, time management and customer focus skills

ability to perform physical tasks necessary for the position, e.g., transferring, lifting clients as required

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required

skills in use of computer and Microsoft Office applications
