Performs hands on maintenance activities specializing in mechanical applications including, but not limited to: pump rebuilds, Preventative Maintenance and basic installations of pipe, electric work. Performs basic and intermediate level repairs and up-keep in the following disciplines: welding, electrical, pipe fitting and mechanics and directs the activities of lower-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
