Our client, Kraft, is currently seeking a Machine Operators a for 12 month assignment. Under the direction of the Supervisor and Team Captain, the Creme Mixer is responsible for using the correct ingredients, making the mix according to the batch sheet/recipe, unloading the mix or transferring the creme to production. By working for Kraft, you will be exposed to a large global company, work in a fast paced environment and be an integral part of the production team.
The pay range for this opportunity is for this opportunity is $14.70 - $15.30/hr + 4% vacation pay

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Comfortable scaling and metering ingredients; As well as making adjustments and hand adds
Capable of transferring the creme to the next process stage i.e. production
Physically capable of lifting heavy ingredients i.e. 40 kg ingredient bags to a height of 5 ft. at the rate of 10 to 15 bags per hour or more , 25 kg pails, 25 kg boxes
Must be able to identify and troubleshoot issues and communicate accurately to Maintenance for prompt repair or preventing break-down
Ability to communicate clearly in English; Speak English while on the line and in production areas
Flexibility/Adaptability: Works in other areas to support business needs
Ability to follow basic safety on the line/area; including wearing proper PPE
Demonstrates attention to safety and GMPs; Demonstrates LOTO protocol when necessary
Work in a safe and competent manner, following rules and procedures as required and as outlined in our Health & Safety guidelines
Report any unsafe condition to your Team Captain or Supervisor

You must have the ability to collaborate with your team to attain common objectives.
