Rogers Digital Media is seeking a Digital Sales Solutions Specialist to increase sales against broadcast and radio web sites in the Western market. Reporting to the Director, Digital Solutions at One Mount Pleasant Rd, Toronto this individual will be at the forefront of creating and driving online sponsorship opportunities and integrated advertising programs.
Multiple internal stakeholders including brand sales directors, marketing solutions, web general managers, research and production departments within both Rogers Publishing and Rogers Digital Media.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with TV, Radio and Digial National Account Representatives to increase sales against TV and Radio web sites by coming up with both proactive proposals and assisting in answering client RFPs
Work directly with Marketing Solutions and web general managers to build strategies to generate incremental advertising revenue for online brands
Create and drive online sponsorship opportunities and integrated advertising programs
Identify new business opportunities as well as tactics to close digital opportunities, including research and other established metrics
Work with program managers to ensure successful execution of all campaigns
Monitor/manage site revenues with a focus on problem solving/trouble shooting
Work with Digital team to deliver timely campaign measurement metrics to clients and agencies, including post-campaign wrap ups and case studies
Qualifications
Post secondary degree or diploma, in Business, Communications or Marketing
5+ years experience in media planning/sales (preferably both for print and online) and/or account management and client strategy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work seamlessly with multiple internal and external constituents
Proven excellence in proposal writing and presentation skills
Creatively-driven and solutions-oriented
Key attributes include a pro-active approach, strategic thinking, plus strong account management and media planning skills, sophisticated business acumen
Preferred candidates will have a proven background with consumer accounts
Basic understanding of the creative production process with a particular emphasis on print and digital
Understanding of digital campaign measurement metrics and industry performance standards
Knowledge of MS Office applications and comScore
