Under the direction of the Director, Enterprise Application & Support Services, the Security Controls Administrator position is responsible for administering and maintaining the IT Security Policy. While contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees, this position ensures adherence to all policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities
Maintains the content and distribution of the IT Security Policy including training and on-going communication with all stakeholders
Identifies company-wide information security needs; collaborates with colleagues and customers to develop and implement solutions
Designs, implements and maintains standards, structures/models for Active Directory, designated applications and password management lifecycle
Administers the LAN, WAN, Network servers and other network equipment
Audits systems, event logs and processes and analysis security related events related to the IT Security Policy
Process owner for user on-boarding and termination processes
Researches, identifies, evaluates and recommends security solutions, standards, policies and procedures that protect the corporation’s information assets
Reviews and evaluates new technologies/applications prior to deployment to ensure that the applications adhere to IT Security Policies and standards
Works closely with internal and external auditors
Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees
Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications
Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service-oriented communication
Post-Secondary education in information technology or suitable combination of education and experience
Professional designation in IT Security such as CISSP, CISA or SSCP Certification preferred
Hands on experience with Microsoft Active Directory (2008r2)
Experience with JDE, Cognos, Kronos security administration an asset
Minimum 2 years of IT security controls and monitoring experience
Valid Driver’s License
This is a corporate position that is based on our Boulevard Casino footprint, in the Great Canadian Business Centre (aka Schooner Building). Our Great Canadian Business Centre is where the Company's IT hub is located and where our Technology Services Group (TSG) are located. This position requires occasional travel to Great Canadian's locations in the Lower Mainland.
