The team is responsible for delivering software that enables customers to create high quality interactive 2D and 3D content and imagery. As part of the team, you will be required to research, analyze, develop and maintain cutting-edge technologies using C++, Objective-C, Java and others tools.
Your role will be to focus on mainly on aspects related to user interaction and interface design for consumer applications on mobile and desktop environments. Location: Toronto, ON
Primary responsibility will involve the development of innovative and creative user interfaces and workflows for applications on mobile and desktop environments.
Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot product features according to market requirements and product specifications.
Work with Product Design for defining solutions and interactions that are innovative, functional and meet customer requirements.
Work as an integral member of a high performance team making important individual contributions.
Participate in architecture / code reviews and eliminate implementation problems early in development cycle.
Coordinate the work with people from multiple teams (Product Design, QA, Documentation, etc.), understand schedule/milestones, track and report progress, etc.
Work closely with Quality Assurance group in unit level testing and problem resolution.
Provide good code documentation and other input to technical documents.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
1 - 2 years experience in C++ AND Objective-C or Java and working experience in Software Development
Experience with developing for the iOS, and Android, Mac and Windows platforms
Experience with interface design and development for applications
3D Computer Graphics and OpenGl experience is an asset
Knowledge of Windows 8 and Metro internals is an asset
Strong object-oriented skills are desired as well as experience with handling large projects and having produced estimates and written designs/technical specifications
Familiarity with the software development processes - including specification, quality assurance and documentation
Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Flexibility and ability to respond quickly to multiple priorities, and under changing conditions.
Ability with problem solving and algorithmic skills.
Ability to work as a technical/feature lead, as well as a member of a team.
Show good communication skills, both oral and written.
Team player with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
