Typical Duties & Responsibilities (Not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments)
Receives and logs, into a centralized contracts database, all types of contractual agreements.
Issues amendments to retail sales contracts, where required.
Provides contract information upon request to internal departments.
Verifies customer termination charges on customer contracts, as required.
Ensures accuracy of contract information in centralized contract database with regular updates.
Provides assistance to Sales in the proper completion of sales contracts.
Reviews contract and pricing accuracy of Service Orders and, if necessary, will re-direct to Sales for correction.
Assists in the creation of new contract templates and updates existing templates when required.
Scans all contracts into centralized contracts database and photocopies for mailing, distribution, and filing.
Maintains centralized filing systems for all Contracts.
Assists in the development of Contracts Intranet site including documenting departmental policies and procedures.
Coordinates off-site records retention.
Other duties as required. Essential Competencies

The successful candidate will:
Have a working knowledge of basic contract law relating to customer/vendor service contracts (typically gained with 1 year in a corporate legal role).
Have a minimum two-year Diploma in Business Administration or other related field.
Possess advanced skills in MS Word and Excel and working knowledge of relational databases; Keyboarding skills 50 wpm.
Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
Possess excellent research, analytical and problem solving skills.
Have previous experience in telecommunications.
Possess superior attention to detail.
