Purpose :
Develop and manage the Fitness and Training strategy to authentically establish Reebok as The Fitness & Training Brand in Canada. Specific focus on CrossFit Affiliate partnerships, CrossFit Games management, Fitness partnership introductions and Jukari franchise management Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive hockey training platform to leverage the equity of Reebok Hockey in the Canadian marketplace Develop and manage the launch strategy for the Reebok Kids fitness platform – BOKS Develop internal and external employee Fitness programs to further engage employees and clients in the Reebok fitness culture Key Accountabilities :
Responsible for the overall strategy and management of Cross Fit affiliate partners and Trainers in Canada Accountable for scouting, recruiting, endorsing, and executing local athlete contracts Partner with gym affiliates to organize and build excitement around local events Initiate, build, maintain affiliate relationships In collaboration with Brand Leader, develop a Hockey training platform to engage the Canadian Hockey consumer Develop a content rich online platform that supports fitness messaging In collaboration with Brand Experience Manager, develop and execute grassroots programming to authenticate hockey training positioning Strategically connect with commercial retail associates to drive brand messaging Working with Reebok Global, develop launch strategy and program management tactics for the Reebok Kids Fitness platform - BOKS Establish short term and long term objectives Establish processes to identify and manage partner schools, volunteers, and miscellaneous resources In association with Brand Leader – Identify and confirm strategic retail partner Visual Merchandising
Work with affiliate partners to ensure all partner boxes are on brand and fully leveraged In association with Trade Marketing Manager, manage development of regional Athlete collateral materials Work with establish vendors to ensure strong and consistent onsite branding for all Fitness events, shows and programs Ensure creative consistency of Global and US Creative Digital Marketing
In collaboration with the Trade Marketing Manager, develop a social marketing strategy to leverage digital trends in marketplace with a specific focus in the CrossFit community Account-Specific Marketing
Working with Brand Team, develop and present Fitness programming to clients and partners Provide the Brand Marketing Rep team with all required product knowledge content to deliver compelling, first-class PK sessions for retail partners Provide guidance to Brand Experience Manager on key monthly Fitness initiatives to ensure consistent focus on brand priorities at key accounts Participate in account presentations to key customers as required Media & Agency Planning
Establish, develop and manage vendor relationships In collaboration with Brand Leader, work with PR agencies to actively promote Reebok fitness Positioning Internal Marketing Support
Develop and publish Bi-monthly newsletters that further educate and inform Event Management
In partnership with Reebok Global and CrossFit HQ, plan and execute the 2 x Canadian Regional games Identify, secure, execute 3-5 grassroots regional Fitness competitions annually Negotiate, manage and execute fitness trade shows
Fiscal Accountability
Manage all Fitness and Training working budgets Work with the Brand Leader to develop annual Fitness & Training budget plans Submit monthly budget/latest estimate as well as complete comments for financial reporting. Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
Proven track record as a creative and strategic thinker Strong analytical skills and understanding of the Canadian retail and consumer environment. Strong leader and peer influencer Demonstrated success in grassroots marketing initiatives Deep understanding of target consumer and strong cultural connection to fitness, fashion, entertainment/events, sport and media Strong communication and presentation skills with keen business acumen Ability to enrol key stakeholders and gain support for initiatives Excellent command of the English and French language, with excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skill with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint. Bilingual Sports enthusiast. Frequent Travel is required. Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):
