Reporting to the President and owner, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day to day accounting (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Financial statement preparation and management reporting
• Cash flow reporting, monitoring and analysis
• Year-end external accountant coordination
• Development and implementation of internal processes and controls
• General ledger maintenance
• Government remittances
• Other general accounting duties as required

As the ideal candidate for the position, you are working on an accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA) and have four to six years’ total experience. As an organized individual with exceptional deadline management skills, you are a dedicated, efficient, and focused professional. Combining excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels, you are a reliable team player. A high attention to detail and strong work ethic are some of your primary strengths. Experience using Simply Accounting and Ceridian is an asset.
