Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.

- Safety Committee participation/Toolbox Participation

• Department Supervision

- Report Supervision, development and training

• All Purchases including:

-tooling, shop supplies and consumables, site and equipment maintenance, sub- contract and special process, Inventory
-Manage expense accounts within monthly budget
- Source alternative suppliers to reduce cost and lead times
-Budget plan participation
- AFE’s (Quotes and information required for all capital expenditures)

• Work with Quality and Engineering to manage vendor special process and measure vendor quality and performance (OTD)

- Manage and improve Vendor relationships

• Work and Communicate with Engineering and Quality departments to ensure inventory meets design and customer requirements
• Inventory Forecast / Budget (Monthly)

- Maintain Min/Max on inventory levels and consumables

• Work and Communicate with all departments to ensure efficient and complete documentation

- Monthly finance requirements

• Other duties as required

- Production Planning
- Weekly Production Meeting Participation
- Inventory Control

• Understanding of Procurement Inventory
• Understanding of chemical, physical, and technical properties of steel
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work closely with and coordinate with Engineering and QC departments

Qualifications
Leadership strength
3-5 years of industry (Oil and Gas) related experience
PMAC Designation (or working towards)
Knowledge/backgroud experience with machine tools considered an asset
Experience with local Materials Indusitries
Experience with ERP systems (Navision, Oracle, SAP)
