Position Profiile:
In this role you will provide technical support and hands on programming assistance for process optimization and process control. This is a camp based position with a rotation schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
Position Accountabilities:
Provide high end DCS programming support to the team
Work with Operations staff to troubleshoot process problems
Have working knowledge of the SAGD process to ensure safe application of controls changes
DCS & PLC Configuration & Graphical interface modifications
Maintain safeguards on control systems as a layer of protection to inherent process risks
Maintain Plant Networks
Work with internal and external resources to specify, develop and test software in support of ABB 800xA and Allen Bradley PLC's
Safe Configuration of the DCS, SIS and associated PLC's
Candidate Profile:
