With leading mining and exploration companies, corporate advisors, financial institutions and insurance companies as clients, the Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for a broad range of projects. You will be joining a team of well over 100 professionals worldwide, to work on truly global projects. As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will have significance experience in geotechnical investigation, analysis and design and apply this in either open pit or underground environments. On a daily basis you will utilize mine and geotechnical software to address challenging engineering problems, across a wide range of projects. Given this project based work, you must have a strong analytical mind, and be able to convey your conclusions in a concise report format. You must be comfortable working individually and as a team member, and be able to support junior staff as required.

To be suitable for this role you will have a degree in geology, geological engineering or mine engineering and ten or more years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in either open pit or underground environments. You will have, or be eligible for you P.Eng designation in British Columbia. To be a success in this role, you must have a reputation among industry peers for your technical excellence, and strong leadership skills.
