The Irving Oil Deepwater Terminal at Canaport in Saint John NB is currently seeking individuals for its Offshore Operations team.

• The Canaport Team is responsible for the safe and efficient discharge of Very Large Crude Carriers to its onshore storage facility and the day-to-day maintenance of surface & sub-surface assets.
• The successful individual will work as part of a team supporting vessel operations and maintenance of equipment associated with the Canaport Single Buoy Mooring.
• The dive component of this position will require working with tools at depths exceeding 100 feet, and use of surface supplied diving procedures and equipment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma is required; post-secondary education is an asset
• DCBC unrestricted surface supplied certification from an accredited commercial diving school or equivalent
• Previous experience in offshore/sub-sea operations
• Previous sea going experience is an asset
• Mechanical maintenance experience is required
• Written and oral competency in English
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Experience working with procedures
• Valid dive medical certificate
• MED 1&2
• First Aid and CPR certified
• Valid Driver’s License
