Due to our continued growth we have an immediate requirement for a seasoned Web Developer . This position requires the ability to interact with our customers on an on-going basis and will appeal to those who enjoy dealing with people over the telephone and in person.
We’re looking for a developer that will work on a variety of exciting web-based projects and contribute to providing continuous excellence in web solutions for our clients and for internal needs. The applicant should be able to work both independently as well as in a team environment that is dynamic and fast paced.
Skills in the following areas and development techniques are definite assets:
Experience designing and developing interactive websites.
Highly creative, with a strong foundation in traditional graphic design and branding techniques that can be applied to web based designs.
Strong understanding of site usability and using design/layout to enhance user experiences.
A solid knowledge of developing sites using HTML and CSS-XHTML, experience with CSS3 and HTML5 would also be an asset
Experience skinning and customizing content management systems (CMS) such as DotNetNuke, Joomla and WordPress.
Experience in PHP / .Net a definite asset.
Training and/or experience in search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), social media marketing (SMM), Google Analytics.
Training and/or experience in traditional marketing and communications concepts as they pertain to internet marketing.
Google Analytics and/or Google AdWords certification is considered an asset.
If you have a formal education in graphic design and web site design/development, we would like to hear from you. You should be experienced in recent development methodologies and have practical knowledge in all areas of design.
Applicants must be proficient with current design and development tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Dreamweaver.
