Retail Representative

Reporting to the District Sales Manager-Atlantic Region, the Retail Representative is accountable for achieving established merchandising objectives for an assigned area through effective distribution of our brands, selling in retail programs, correcting out of stocks, territory coverage and securing secondary display locations in store.

Key Responsibilities are as follows:
Contribute to the achievement of established sales targets through selling in retail programs

Contribute to the growth of Unilever by securing increased shelf facings and obtaining secondary display activity at retail.

Maintain sound interpersonal relationships with store management and staff to ensure the optimum level of co-operation in the movement of our brands.

Contribute to sound decision making and growth by providing feedback on opportunities at retail and competitive information.

Deliver weekly store coverage objectives

Deliver key distribution objectives and reduce out of stocks

Ensure implementation of agreed plan o grams at retail.

Perform merchandising tasks such as relines and building displays

Candidate should possess excellent oral/written communication skills and computer skills primarily in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Windows environment. Possess skills in the area of store level technology, specifically Hand Held for key information gathering.

Previous experience in selling and a post-secondary education is a requirement. A high energy level, a sense of urgency and drive are essential for this position. In addition, all candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, which is in good standing and own a reliable car. This position requires some travel on a regular basis. Must be capable of performing merchandising tasks at retail such as relines and building displays.
