Reporting to the Station Manager, this position requires the individual to provide accounting and administrative support to the commercial activities of site operations at the Muskeg River Cogeneration Facility.

Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly revenue determinations using an Excel based billing model.
Reconciliation and tracking of expected values determined from the billing model.
Provide monthly revenue and cost of sales accruals to Project Accounting.
Assist with the preparation of annual business plans.
Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts.
Analysis of actual revenue and operating & maintenance costs as compared to budgets and forecasts.
Administration of commercial agreements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Verification, coding and tracking of billings received.
Co-ordinate the preparation of specific reports such as monthly operating reports.
Co-ordinate the preparation of all monthly reporting information required by Head Office accounting.
Coordinate accounting activities with Shell/Albian Sands Energy accounting personnel.
Qualifications
A Grade XII Diploma supplemented by courses in accounting/booking. Enrolment in a recognized accounting program leading to an accounting designation will be considered an asset.
A Degree in Business Administration will be considered an asset.
Related experience working with accounting, financial and/or billing models or systems.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel.
Strong demonstrable organizational skills and an aptitude for maintaining documentation.
