Description
You will be responsible for directing day-to-day production operations of the White Rose Project in the Atlantic Region. You will provide direction and supervision to operations personnel which includes the SeaRose FPSO offshore crew, onshore engineering and maintenance staff and technical specialists. Your responsibilities will include the execution of operational strategies and techniques utilizing the most profitable and efficient means for optimal asset management. You will ensure Production Operations follow the company's health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Your specific responsibilities will be:
Developing and executing the business plan for Production Operations including operational strategies, objectives, budget and staffing requirements;
Overseeing all operating areas to ensure effective cost management
Working closely with, and providing direction to, the Offshore Installation Managers in the day-to-day operation of the FPSO
Staffing and proactively managing a multi-disciplinary team to meet the strategic, organizational and operational objectives developed. This will include the development of short and long term position planning of appropriate staff and contingent workforce along with appropriate recruitment strategies;
Ensuring the company's assets are developed and operated in a safe and environmentally responsible manner;
Prioritizing and problem solving operational issues;
Ensuring the successful execution of defined objectives;
Monitoring and reviewing day-to-day operations and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
Working with the management team to ensure business unit and organizational requirements are met;
Developing and presenting operational plans;
Obtaining approval for operational plans and budgets from partners; and
Participating on the Emergency Response Team, including carrying a pager on a rotational basis.
Qualifications Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
A recognized professional within the petroleum industry;
A minimum of 15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, some of which will be at a managerial level, and includes exposure to diverse aspects of the operations, such as production, drilling, completions, subsea, logistics, loss control, environment and safety;
Experience working in an offshore production environment, preferably in harsh climate conditions (e.g. East Coast, North Sea) as an Offshore Installation Manager; and
Direct operational experience with an FPSO and subsea wells, is an asset. SAFETY AND LOSS PREVENTION:
Good working knowledge of health, safety and environment issues;
Ensure employees and contractors adopt safe worksite practices in according with Husky standards;
Actively promote safety awareness to staff and contractors;
Maintain positive relations with external parties to ensure expedient resolution of health & safty issues;
Ensure staff and contractors receive appropriate training;
Participate in establishing health & safety objectives;
Attend and participate in safety meetings for contractors and/or other departments, as required;
Review employee participation in, and knowledge of, health & safety initiatives and practices as part of Husky's Performance Planning and Review Process. SPECIFIC SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Acts with integrity while actively assessing and managing risk. Medical (Physical) Requirements/Standards:
You will be expected to travel and work offshore therefore must successfully pass the medical assessment required in order to work in the Atlantic Region offshore environment Certified Training:
Must successfully complete Basic Survival and other, training, as required This posting will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
