SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the leadership of the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, the Starbucks Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Starbucks Outlet. This role will play a critical part in ensuring guests’ expectations are exceeded and employees’ development is fulfilled, within the Starbucks Outlet.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum 1 to 2 years supervisory experience in Food & Beverage

Previous experience working in a Starbucks location in a leadership capacity is a definite asset.

Food & Beverage administration experience would be an asset (scheduling, payroll, written and oral correspondence, and inventory).

Genuine commitment and passion for guest service.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and as necessary to meet the guests’ needs.

Must have the ability to supervise, teach and train in an innovative and multi-tasked environment.

Outstanding team player, able to motivate and support team members.

Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and maintain a Safe and Healthy work environment adhering to the legislation set out by Occupational Health and Safety.

Provide administrative support to the Outlets Manager, which includes payroll, scheduling, Food & Beverage Inventory and general correspondence.

Act as the main trainer for the Starbucks team, incorporating both Starbucks service standards and Delta Hotels service standards.

Review schedule and till assignments and make any necessary adjustments.

Review and ensure all orders have been placed in a timely manner

Review the previous days sales, sales by department.

Review communication from previous day and communicate key information and tasks.

Prepare for the next day. Ensure that there is good written communication for the next shift if the orders for the day have been incomplete.

Check labour to ensure compliance with Starbucks and Delta standards.

Ensure all duty roster tasks are completed daily

Assist the Outlets Manager in various Food & Beverage initiatives.

Participate actively in a multi-functional, team environment.
