Information Technology - Halifax Responsibilities: • Responsible for the support and maintenance of Windows 2003 Servers and related IT infrastructure. • Support and maintain LAN of up to 30+ Windows XP clients and associated network devices. • Ensure that backups are complete and verified. • Strict configuration management of Windows servers and clients, including, Operating System, Custom Software and utilities.

• Regular Issue Management & Reporting. • System Expert using proprietary application. Qualifications: 1. Post-secondary education in Information Technology desirable, or equivalent work experience.

2. Strong Microsoft skill set with 2+ years supporting Windows 2003 Environment. 3. Have an understanding of basic TCP/IP networking.

4. Have excellent written & interpersonal skills. 5. Be a team player with a track record for meeting deadlines and managing a high level of responsibility.

6. Have knowledge of database administration including working knowledge of SQL. 7. Background in Microsoft Server Administration, active directory, WSUS, etc.

8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project. 9. Have a working knowledge of backup and data recovery procedures.

Experience with CA ArcServe would be an asset. 10. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 11.

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. 12. Proven ability to work, both independently and in a team environment. 13.

Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours. 14. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. 15.
