Position: Director of Marketing and Communication
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Salary: commensurate with experience / 40 hours weekly
Job Description:
Responsible for the management of international marketing campaigns to targeted market. Primary responsibilities will include: marketing material development, social media network management, public relationship, client relationship management. Must have the ability to prepare a marketing plan, and execute the plan within a budget.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for working on clients’ international trade development profiles to identify market trends, provide basic consultation, execute presentations, conduct workshops, draft work report, and respond to staff and client requests for information.
Job Requirement:
University Degree, preferably in Marketing
Strong professional background in the food industry
International Trade Experience
Strong communication skills
Public relationship management skills
Self-motivated with innovative ideas
Strong langrage skills in BOTH English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Preferred Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of research techniques
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and industries, relevant international experience;
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independent, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
Well developed proficiency with Excel, Power-point, Outlook, and Project.
