Our Regina office has an opportunity for a Landscape Architectural Technologist. The successful candidate will work within a fast paced, multi-disciplinary team for completion of design and construction services for a wide variety of landscape architectural projects.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include computer aided drafting of layout, grading, planting, and irrigation plans and construction detailing. You will assist and support our Landscape Architects in concept design development and provide cost estimating, detail design services, contract document preparation and undertake various field services such as site inventories and construction inspection and reports.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Landscape Architectural Technology (LAT) or a related landscape/horticulture program, or graduates of another technology program that have a strong interest in the field of landscape architecture and site development;
1-2 years experience in a consulting environment is preferred, however, recent graduates or those with additional experience are encouraged to apply;
A sound understanding of the landscape architects work requirements is required;
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel;
Experience with other computer drafting programs, manual drafting and above average graphic skills are highly desirable and considered an asset;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and possess a strong desire to take part in finding creative solutions that are environmentally responsible and technically sound.
