As a member of the Quality Assurance team, this position will be responsible for ensuring our buses adhere and comply with our Internal Quality Control System. This position is responsible for identifying quality and process gaps and non-conformance issues. Responsibilities also include in -process inspection of production, fabricated and purchased materials as well final inspection of buses for delivery, investigate and communicate internally and externally on non-conformance issues and work in a professional manner to find a resolution.
Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Clear understanding of the bill of materials as it relates to product completion, ability to read blueprints and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments is required. Experience with MS Office, with a focus on Excel and Word as well as Oracle database system would also be an asset coupled with a few years of hands-on experience in a related position.
