An opportunity currently exists for the position of Stakeholder Engagement Support within the Stakeholder Relations group. This role requires an efficient, outgoing and innovative individual. Under the direction of the Manager Stakeholder Engagement, the Stakeholder Engagement Support position is accountable to assist External Engagement Specialists in the delivery and monitoring of consultation activities related to transmission projects. Primary role is to support the Stakeholder Engagement Project Team.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Consultation team, including: preparing correspondence, meeting and event coordination, travel arrangements, expense statement preparations, entering time sheets and data entry.

Manage logistics, coordinate and attend open houses and other public or stakeholder group meetings

Assist with preparing materials for public information sessions, open houses, advisory committee meeting or other such events required to ensure full consultation

Coordinate the capture and management of complete and accurate stakeholder input records

Generate reports to monitor consultation progress on projects

Convert rough draft presentations into professional looking presentations (using PowerPoint, Excel or Word)

Facilitate interaction and coordination between Stakeholder Engagement and Data Integrity staff to ensure the ongoing flow and exchange of information related to consultation activities and records

Assist with ongoing management of project consultation budgets

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma

3+ years of recent administrative experience supporting teams in a business environment

Strong project coordination and analytical skills

Proven ability in dealing with the public

Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a wide variety of issues simultaneously

Strong ability with MS Office, including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to be an effective and cooperative team player

Enjoys working in a fast pace team environment

Proven track record of good attendance and performance

Valid driver’s license and comfortable with highway driving

Ability to travel in Alberta and accommodate overnight stays
