As a Warehouse Support Clerk, you will do the following:
Enhance Office Efficiencies
Act as the first point of contact through providing excellent reception services including face to face, telephone and electronic contact with customers
Maintain various office records including courier, telephone, stationary and other logs
Process daily mail/courier by receiving, date stamping and distributing as required
Schedule, book and set up boardrooms, make arrangements for office maintenance
Assist with the expediting of outstanding purchase orders
Assist with various data entry tasks in SAP
Keep Us Organized
Prepare and create correspondence, reports and other materials ensuring accuracy and compliance with Corporate formats, procedures and deadlines; proofread various documents for accuracy, spelling and proper format
Create, maintain and update various electronic and hard copy lists and manuals
Support the Materials Management, Catalogue and Material Safety Data Sheet Specialists
Reconcile various office accounts and charges; research and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications
:
Grade 12 including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college
Minimum 2 years of diverse and varied experience in general office practices and procedures including reception and assisting in the instruction of less experienced staff
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in the desktop environment including the following software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and SAP
Strong and accurate typing and keyboarding skills required
Outstanding interpersonal, team, organizational, time management and communication (verbal and written) skills required
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management principles and safe storage/handling of hazardous goods is preferred
Motivated by the desire to work in this area
Hours of Work:
33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program
Salary Range: 21M, Salary Grade: 006, $20.232 - $25.123 (Hourly), $1,365.66 - 1,695.80 (Bi-Weekly), $35,643.73 - $44,260.45 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
