Our programs goal is to instruct young athletes through positive reinforcement in an effort to build good volleyball intelligence, confidence and self-esteem so vital to young people athletes today..

We pride ourselves on our inclusive policy which accepts any young person who wants to play volleyball - no matter what their skill level may appear to be

The Benefits
Along with improved physical endurance and conditioning, our athletes benefit from the enhanced social environment that comes with being a part of a team. They also learn the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline and self-motivation.

And, of course, there's the obvious benefit -- the more they play, the better athlete they’ll become.

ARROYO has a commitment to excellence and we believe in attracting the best coaches to be apart of our program. All our Coaches are NCCP certified or are in the progress of receiving their certification within their first year with the Club.

Additionally our club has Sports Psychologist on retainer to help maintain our level of transparency and excellence in our program.

As a Coach with ARROYO you will work on developing our new Club in Canada. You will also have opportunity to work with our USA coaches and to travel Internationally to coach our youth as they compete in Europe, South America and the Caribbean and show case the game of volleyball as well develop new friends, create amazing memories and play volleyball.

As a member of your team we value your contributions—we believe in compensating our coaches for the commitment they make of their time and professional development:

Honorarium

Should you want to transition into Coaching Volleyball you can work with us in our Developmental Programs and lower Divisions while you work towards completing your NCCP Level 1 within your first year with ARROYO. We will then assist by reimbursing you by 50% upon successful completion.

All coaches will need to submit a recent police check and vulnerable sector check. You can submit your receipt and we will reimburse you for the cost of the police check. You will then be allowed to coach with us pending the successful results of your police check.

Our coaches are expected to attend the regular OVA Coaching Conventions and are encouraged to join and participate with the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Our Club has adopted the John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success as it’s philosophy in developing athletes and it is mandatory that all our coaches understand and apply this in their coaching style with our athletes.

Even though our Coaches are compensated—their first priority and passion needs to be the youth and the sport and doing it to a level of excellence. The compensation is simply a nice perk.
