Based out of our office located in Mississauga (Ontario), we have an immediate full time opportunity available within the IT department.

System Administrator
Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, the responsibilities of this role is one that provides first level support to all Ariva employees as it pertains to all services provided by the Information Services.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
-Providing the highest level of service to Information Services internal and external customers with respect to responsive, courteous support
-Providing first level support to all Helpdesk requests, whether verbal or written
-Providing second level support, management and development of all client side systems and applications
-Regularly administering, monitoring and providing second level support for the following backend environments: Microsoft Services, (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc), Facsys Fax Server, WebMethods, Data Protector Backups, WebSense Web Filter, Exchange 2010 user mailbox administration, print services, branch phone systems,
-Assisting the Infrastructure Manager with data center management and project activities and provide incident co-ordination of all Information Systems when the Infrastructure Manager is unavailable.

The Successful Incumbent will have:
-College degree or very strong computer background,
-At least 5 years’ experience in Information Services,
-Specialization in Help Desk support is an asset,
-Proficient in using computer software applications including: Microsoft Windows OS, workstations applications, SAP GUI interface
-Experience with VMware vSphere and or Symantec Netbackup
-Strong problem troubleshooting, organization and time management skills required.
