The Showroom Consultant is ther first point of contact for consumer public, suppliers, contractors and their clients as well as visitors to our showroom and Branch.

They strive to provide expert product selection assistance together with enhancing the Richelieu customer experience.

Friendly and outgoing, you’re fanatical about customer service with strong attention to detail. A self starter you’re ability to multi-task and problem solve, coupled with your strong communication and computer skills make you the ideal person to join our growing team.

Job Duties:

Work with customers, contractors and designers in planning and product selection
Assist manager in marketing campaigns
Track and replenish Marketing Collateral
Liaise with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues
Use appropriate office technologies and computers to process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts as required
Assist with special projects such as trade shows and display changes
Follow company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Education: High school diploma/GED required
(Associate degree preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred
Minimum 1 year in progressive position
(2 years preferred)
Product/applications experience preferred
Wholesale distribution experience preferred

Experience in or familiarity with the construction, design and or woodworking industries would be considered a strong asset but not mandatory.
